Take your state-cation with Holiday Inn!

With so much that goes on in everyones lives from week to week, along with the economy, its growing harder and harder to take those family vacations to all the big, major places. No mouse for us, no big whales, no white sand beaches with crystal blue ocean to gaze off at....

Though I can't complain because doing the "state-cation" vs. the "stay-cation" has really worked out for us this summer, and next year we plan on doing more of it. I mean, the popularity of a stay-cation, staying home on your vacaction, is growing and growing, but why not bump it up a notch? I'm already planning our state-cations for next summer, where we'll head to someplace in our own state and stay over one night, preferably at a Holiday Inn! They have the Bed-4-Breakfast rates, where you not only get your room, but a hot breakfast as well, which cuts down on costs while out on the road. Plus, Holiday Inn has bumped it up with a more contemporary feel with their soft and firm pillows, power showers, and signature bedding. There are more than 2,500 Holiday Inn's in the US, perfect for planning your state-cation.

Next year's state-cation ideas for us?? Niagara Falls, staying at the Holiday Inn Grand Island maybe? Maybe head out to Long Island and sit on the beach for a few days, staying at the east end Holiday Inn Express?

Where would you head if you were taking a State-Cation??

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Holiday Inn. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
