Shopping for the kiddos at ebeanstalk.com

Summer is here and for me that means birthday shopping for my two littles. Miss Boug will be SEVEN this year, which I completely can't believe, and Lil' Buddy will be a whopping THREE years old. These years are going by so quickly!!

I do love being able to do shopping for both kids in one swoop and ebeanstalk.com is one of those places that you can do that. Of course doing so is much easier because ebeanstalk has some of the easiest to navigate categories that I've seen in a while. I love being able to browse by age right there on the homepage of their site. Being able to browse by age is my favorite feature, but by far not their only good feature. Ebeanstalk makes it easy to take a peek at developmental milestones by age, and I absolutely love how clear and concise it is. I took at peek at what Bud's milestones should be at age 3 and I'm thinking we're pretty much on that track! What's great about it is that you can hone in on certain milestones to be met though, with toys that address certain goals.

Head on over to ebeanstalk and take a peek at books for children, presents for 1 year olds, or alphabet toys among soooo much more! Don't forget you'll receive free shipping on orders over $75!!

Walgreens does good with their Way to Well Fund!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

120x30_WalgrensTransparentLogoYou may recall that I spoke before about Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products  and I wanted to touch on it one more time. I've been so pleased with the Walgreens Brand Green Tea Dietary Supplement that I've been continuing to use it with the same success I had when I first started! Big thanks to Walgreens for having a great product that I'm happy to turn to! Advertisement

I must say that I find extra comfort in using stores and companies that give back to the community in one way or another. The Walgreens Way to Well Fund™  is one of those programs that does so and I think its a great thing! Each year, Walgreens contributes up to $3 million to their Way to Well Fund™ which brings preventative care to communities. It also brings education and wellness services to people, some instances through the National Urban League Health and Wellness Tour as well as vouchers redeemable at select stores. You can visit walgreens.com/waytowell to get more information on this program, or click through the link above.

Be sure to check out the bloggers out there that are holding giveaways  for Walgreens gift cards! Personally I love using gift cards to try out products I've never used before and Walgreens is loaded with tons of great stuff to try!

Social Media... Yes, I hearts it.

Thank you to BING Social Search for sponsoring my post about social media. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

In the past 15 or so years, things have changed. Communication and the way that I personally keep in touch with people has changed. I remember using the internet to email family all over the place, and as time went by, everything evolved. As the world wide web became more developed, more opportunities became available to shop more, socialize more, keep in better touch.

Sometimes I'm pretty sure that I'd be lost without social media. Being a social person in real life and having so many outlets online makes a social media obsession all too easy sometimes. The friends that I've made through blogging and blogger events are irreplaceable. The friends from long ago that I've been able to reconnect with through Facebook are amazing. Being able to "tweet" what is on my mind in a sentence or two real quick is too fun sometimes. I remember when you had to do all your internet doings from a computer, and now we choose which cell phone we are going to buy based on what we can do on the web with it. People have had themselves treated for "digital addictions" and I'm not surprised, it is completely easy to get wrapped up into a social online world.

What I find to be so valuable from social media is the connections that you can make with people. I've had so many great opportunities through blogging to meet so many people, but the ones that I'm closest to the most, whether social media is still relevant or not, will always be in my life. For that I am so ridiculously thankful. I'm thankful for the opportunities to meet new people and to be able to express myself, whether it be here on my site or on Facebook or any other outlet. What have you found to be valuable to you about social media? Is there something you'd change?

Using promotional materials to help stand out in a crowd!

Sometimes you need to stand out in a crowd. At all these blog events, or even just when I talk about my site in passing, I feel like I at times would like to be able to hand someone something more than just my card. Granted, the cards are nice, have all the information on them, but sometimes I wish I had something more.

I've been starting to look into promo pens that have my site name on them, and I think that they could be a great tool to help promote A Couch With A View. I mean seriously, who doesn't use a pen in their day to day life? And to have my information at their fingertips while writing? Genius!

I know that when I was starting off in my short lived college stint, I was constantly taking notes by hand, and writing up drafts of papers and I would grab any pen in my reach! And another great tidbit of info for situations like that, ACI-Plus.com is a great resource for help in writing term papers!!

Miracle Missions from Pampers, PAY IT FORWARD!! (giveaway)

One of my favorite brands through the past 7 years has consistently been Pampers. Granted, they've been around for 50 years, as this year is their 50th birthday, but I've stood by them as long as they've been relevant in my household. With their 50th birthday being here, Pampers has launched their Miracles Missions, which is a pay-it-forward program that delivers random acts of kindness and encourages and challenges YOU to support others in your community.

Pampers gave me a head start on my own pay it forward campaign and gave me a $50 gift card to perform a RAOK in my community. Since Miss Boug was the whole reason that I started using Pampers 7 years ago, I figured I needed her input on what we should do for others in our community. She and I sat down and she was a little torn on her decision. We had done work with the Make A Wish foundation recently through my job and she wasn't sure if she wanted to use it for them or for a donation through her Daisy Scout troop. After much deliberation, she decided to use it for the collections that her scout troop was doing. Her Daisy Scout troop was collecting personal care items for the womens shelter nearby and she knew she wanted to use the $50 to get more toothbrushes, combs, toothpaste, soap and the like to bring to them. Off to the discount store we went, spent the $50 on so much, and we were able to bring it to her scout leader for the drop off at the shelter. My girl was so proud when she was able to help out those who are in need.

Pampers wants to keep these Miracle Missions going and they want to give one of my most fabulous readers a $50 gift card to keep the kindness going. There's so much that you can do to pay it forward to others, use the money to prepare meals for a family, or even use it to host an even larger fundraiser for others!

PAMPERS CONTINUES THEIR 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION BY PARTNERING WITH CELEBRITY PARENTS JOEY LAWRENCE, ALI LARTER, MARK CONSUELOS AND LALA ANTHONY TO KICK OFF LITTLE MIRACLE MISSIONS PROGRAM AT MT. SINAI HOSPITAL IN NEW YORK CITY

Want to win the $50 gift card from Pampers to do a RAOK? Leave me a comment here letting me know how you would use this gift card to pay it forward!!

Don't beat your feet, TREAT your feet! Dr. Scholl's giveaway!

There are few things that I do for myself, but buying good shoes and treating my feet to quality insoles is something I choose to do for me. As a busy, busy, busy mom, as so many of my readers are, we know how hard we can be on our feet. You run here, you trip over toys, you work, you drive, you are go-go-go all the time. Personally, as a busy mom, and a waitress and bartender on top of that, my feet are the one part of my body that feels completely beat up.

I had the chance to treat my feet to Dr. Scholl's custom fit orthotics, and I have to say that even with my pricey shoes, that I shouldn't NEED insoles for, these orthotics make a WORLD of difference! My first step was heading to a custom fit orthotic center and getting my feet "read." I was able to find my nearest kiosk at the Wal-Mart nearby my house. The kiosks have more than 2,000 sensors that read your feet and suggests the right orthotic insert for you. I slipped mine in immediately and was amazed. I felt like my posture changed, and after just a day, I really didn't feel like my feet were as tired or felt as stressed as they usually do after a long day.

To find a custom fit kiosk near you, you can head to the Dr. Scholl's homepage and do a quick search. I have 3 in my area, its nice to have a few available nearby!! Once you head to the kiosk and get mapped, you can also access a mail-in rebate to get $7.50 back on your purchase!

Want to win a pair of Dr. Scholl's custom fit orthotics? Leave a comment here letting me know what the biggest stressor is on your feet! Please keep in mind, winner will need to visit a custom fit orthotic kiosk and give me their foot mapping recommendation by June 23rd in order to have prize win fulfilled.

Extra Entries??

This giveaway will accept entries until 11:59 pm on Monday, June 20th. Winner will be drawn with random.org and emailed. Winner must reply within 48 hours to winning email or a new winner will be drawn. Please make sure that your email is accessible, whether in the comment or a blogger profile, cause if I cant contact you, how can you win?

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Dr. Scholl’s and received a Custom Fit Orthotics from Dr. Scholl’s to facilitate my review.
