At home, the one main thing that I can't stand about this house is the fact that I don't have a dishwasher. When we do dinner nights at my parents house, I don't mind when my mother asks me to "do dishes" because all she really wants me to do is load them in the dishwasher. Of course I sit around and wait for the dishwasher to finish running and put them all away for her, just to be the wonderful daughter that I am... and to take my dish home that I brought over to contribute to the meal. *gasp!*
Sometimes Mom ends up buying whatever's on sale for the dishwasher, but I brought over the Cascade Complete All-In-1 Action Packs the last time we were over, along with a pan of baked ziti, and was definitely looking forward to putting the new Action Packs to the test. Cascade wanted me to take their test, and leave the dish out for 24 hours before washing it with the Action Packs. I had to run the plan past Mom and surprisingly she went along with it... she's a bit of a neat freak, so I know how much it bothered her that the dish sat in the sink overnight. She was skeptical about how well they would work, since she's a pre-dishwasher dish washer. Regardless, the dish went through the wash, while we sat around and sipped on tea. Without a doubt, the dish came out clean, and the rest in the load did too. Cascade Complete All-In-1 Action Packs definitely stood by their claims of getting these dishes clean without a problem!

At least once a week, Boug asks me if we can do a movie night. Some weeks it gets ahead of me and we don't end up doing it, but right now, we've got a standing date for August 5th! That's when Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension. The number 1 animated show for tweens, will be airing its original movie at 8:00 pm, Friday August 5th on the Disney Channel, and again at 10 am on Saturday August 13th on Disney XD.
In the new movie, Across the 2nd Dimension, Phineas & Ferb are headed into their biggest journey yet- into another dimension! When they finally realize Perry the Platypus is a secret agent, they join his adventure where Dr. Doofenshmirtz takes over an alternate tri-state area. When they uncover his plan to get back to their dimension to take over their tri-state area, the crew and their alter egos have to come together to stop him.
In a few cities around the US, you'll be able to catch Disney's new "Perry the Platy-bus On Tour." Its a 27' long, customized, rounded aluminum Airstream that is transformed into the awesome teal platypus from Phineas & Ferb. Its headed on a coast-to-coast excursion, starting in NYC on July 11th, then to Comic-Con in San Diego July 21st through 24th, and the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim August 19 through 21st. You can even come aboard and try out the new video game, sing Perry-oke and more, all without a charge. Definitely something cool to do, sometimes its hard to fill the kiddos days during summer vacation!
My kids and I will be camped out on our couch on August 5th (8:00pm) watching "Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension" on Disney Channel! Is this a program that your kids are looking forward to?? Would you prefer to do a movie morning and catch it at 10 am on Disney XD on August 13th??
