Feeding the pig....

With this economy, money is tight and its becoming increasingly harder to save. Though its one of the most important things that you can do for yourself, is to put a bit away for a rainy day.

Over at Feed The Pig, you can learn so much about saving, and though the freaky pig-man spokesperson Benjamin Bankes freaks me out a bit, the site has way too much awesome information to stay away.

At Feed The Pig, you can reference fun tools, a quiz, tons of tips and other resources. They can all help you think through your spending and saving habits, identify ways you can start saving and commit to making changes that will reduce your debt and grow your savings.

You can also take the 5% Challenge which will help you with a convenient way to figure out how to pay down your debt!

I have 2 Feed The Pig gift packs to giveaway! These include a piggy bank, stress pig, keychain, and weepul!! To be entered just visit Feed The Pig, and leave a comment here with which of the resources are most helpful to you!

I was amazed and grateful to learn that GCM's (geriatric care managers) can give guidance and help with elderly parents and they can also assess their ability to live on their own and recommend if home health care is needed, plus refer other agencies to help parents be more independent. My mom-in-law is facing this situation and we want the best for her, so this information has been immensely helpful. Thank you!

What a nice prize.
Thanks for the chance to win!

Mom Union August 7, 2009 at 10:09 AM

The lunch saving calculator was too cool. If my husband carried his lunch to work just one day a week, we'd save about $3K/yr!

I wonder how much I'll save if I just stop feeding him? Hmmm.
