Coffee Runs Through My Veins

As a night owl, mom of two and wife, I seriously LIVE on coffee, all day-everyday. I stay up far too late and my kids get up far too early! I beg my husband every night to set the timer on the coffee pot so that it brews for me before I wake up in the morning, but that hardly ever happens.

Thank goodness for the opportunity to grab a Keurig Platinum brewer.... This thing has been my SAVIOR! The Keurig brews so quickly that there is no wait for my joe and no more begging the husband to set the coffee brewer timer. Not only that, the machine is so sleek! It looks so much nicer in the kitchen then the ugly old coffee pot I had going on.

Of course there's the old issue, who likes what kind of coffee... The husband likes the bolder stuff, I like the medium roasts... we rarely like the flavoreds, those are great for after dinner special occasion coffees. With the Keurig we are able to each brew the flavor and roast that we each like, instead of brewing a whole pot of something that maybe only one of us like. It definitely cuts down on wasted coffee, and I love anything that cuts down on waste!

When the Keurig first arrived, I brought it directly over to my parents property so that we could all try it out together. My dad has been wanting to try it for a while, ever since he passed the brewers by in the store. He tried the Caribou coffee, I tried the Donut Shop Coffee by Coffee People and the hub tried the Dark Magic by Green Mountain. We all loved what we picked to try out first and though my mother isn't a coffee drinker, she's a tea drinker and the Keurig can be used to brew hot tea too!!
