UPDATE TO GIVEAWAY ENTRIES
Its come to my attention that I can't give you an extra entry for becoming a fan of something, whether it be my site or a sponsors site, on Facebook. As it stands now, the giveaways that have been posted until 11/14 and are open until 11/30 will still allow you to gain an extra entry by becoming a Facebook fan. Too many people have entered so far and it just wouldn't be fair to take that away at this point. Giveaways posted 11/15 and after will no longer have an extra entry option for fanning on Facebook, but I'd still love it if you would be my fan!!
If you'd still like to be a fan of A Couch With A View on Facebook, or need the link, visit here and become a fan. I love my readers and am thrilled when you are Facebook fans!!

Meh ... is this the FTC stuff? *grumble* I suppose I should edit my extra entries page then as well? Does the same go for digging or stumbling? Seriously this crap is just confusing to me.
Oh my goodness! Is this only regarding facebook? What a pain! You are a doll and very sweet to keep us posted.
I heard a small clip on one of the news stations earlier, but didn't catch the whole thing. It basically said that all promotions with Facebook, have to be approved by Facebook. If this is why, I'd really appreciate it if you could post more about it, or drop me an email if you have time.

Someone told me today that the giveaways are just an advertising gimmick and that Facebook wants the sponsors of the prizes to be paying ad fees on the other sites they are using to advertise. I don't know if it's all true, but it really looks like they want to slow down some free advertising traffic on Facebook.
Well that stinks! You would think it would be a win-win situation for bloggers and Facebook to allow this.
Rules, rules, rule. NO FUN!!!
Thanks for letting me know...I have no idea why,but I'll be sure to find out.
