K'nex sets, perfect for the holidays!

How long have K'nex been around? It feels like forever... my husband born in '78 remembers playing with them as a kid, me, born in '82 remember playing with them as a kid... needless to say, they've been around a while. K'nex have always been one of those great toys for kids, because they can tap into their creativity, build what they want, take it apart and do it over and over again. There's no limit to what the kids can build!

A perfect gift this holiday season is the K'nex 400 piece tub. Part of the reason I love it so much is because it serves as its own storage, which is huge for me. Giving a jumpstart to the imagination with a 20 model instruction book is great too, though that's not the limit of what can be built and other brands like Lego's can be incorporated into the projects. Yes, I've found Boug playing with her stuffed animals with her K'nex...

Another great product from K'nex is the Sesame Street Neighborhood Collection Building Sets. These are awesome for the littler kids, who love the Sesame Street characters, or like Buddy, who must have the same toys as his older sister! The Sesame Street sets are great for the littler kids' physical development of hand-eye coordination, great for encouraging imaginative play, as well as working on the cognitive skills with sorting and patters, and language development, being able to talk with them about what they've built. Sets like the Ice Cream Truck, Police Car, 1-2-3 Brownstone and Police Station are all areas that kids love and will definitely love playing with!!

Now through December 7th, you can even enter into the "Make A K'NEXion" video contest to have the chance to win $1,000 worth of K'nex building sets and be featured on their website! Submit a video to show your kids K'nex building skills and show them building with the 400 piece tub or the Sesame Street building sets. Please visit the K'nex site for more details, rules and regulations.

You can find K'nex at Toys 'R Us, Wal-Mart, and Target!

Opinions are my own, I was provided items free of charge to review (by K'nex via Team Mom), which in no way changed the way I feel about the product!

The Sesame Street set is great. Seems every little one loves Elmo these days!
