Coffee? Good. Bags? Good.

Ever see that episode of "Friends" where Rachel makes the trifle and she puts meat in it? One of my all time favorite lines is Joey saying "Meat? Good. Jam? Good."

Thats how I'm feeling about The Coffee Bag Chick bags. I'm a coffee-aholic. I love me some bags. How perfect do these go together!?!?! The Coffee Bag Chick started up after she was given some coffee sacks for use on a tuna boat, but they were inadequate. Instead of just tossing them aside, why not pretty them up and use them to replace the bags that her and her friends were wearing through every year. If they can carry 150 pounds of coffee beans all over the place, they've got to be pretty durable! Being an eco-friendly mama of 4, she knows what it is to recycle and reuse.

I have the small tote myself, but it is in no way small!! Some people put out bags that are so itty bitty and they say... oooh this is our medium tote.... Are you kidding me? You can't fit more than a cell phone and a wallet in any of those. But this tote that The Coffee Bag Chick put together, is the perfect size for me!! I can fit all my crap in there and its not too big for me. Now if I had just a bit more junk to carry around, which I usually do, the large messenger would definitely be my next choice!

The fabrics that The Coffee Bag Chick lines her totes with are so pretty! Pink florals and bold stripes look fabulous against the brown printed coffee bags! And better yet, there are organic fabrics available for your totes if you just contact them!

The Coffee Bag Chick has just come out with a brand new fabulous Yoga Tote, which is perfect cause so many people do yoga now... (I wish I were that flexible!) The burlap is so great for a yoga tote cause its breathable! Just roll your mat up and stick it in, you wont have to worry about it stinkin' from that sweaty yoga session cause The Coffee Bag Chick's bag breathe right on through!!

There are a few selections available at Cafe Moto.

Would you love to have The Coffee Bag Chick yoga tote and soap bag of your own? Head over to The Coffee Bag Chick website and take a look at the products, what else besides the Yoga Tote would you like to carry around? Is there something that you would like to see The Coffee Bag Chick carry?

The double wine tote is genious!

mineola March 6, 2009 at 10:07 AM

Oh- I love these! What a great story behind them as well! The large messenger bag is something I would use for those grocery store runs where you find yourself skipping the basket and regretting it- as items spill from your hands! Great for the farmer's market also. These are "tote-ally" charming!

She might consider direct ecommerce, these will sell like mad online, especially if she runs a few giveaways with coffeeshops and the coffeeshop throws in a few pounds!!!!

Cindra March 6, 2009 at 10:08 AM

We have been so fortunate to receive these bags in Buffalo, Ny - it has started a new fad in the East. It's such an innovative and economical idea during these times. Jody is a genius. Thank you for sharing with the "folks" in Buffalo, Cindra

the messanger bag looks great for summer running around

I brought my love of these bags with me from California to Minnesota and now Minnesotans love them too! The interest in the bags was huge and I am thinking it will just keep getting bigger. Recycling is so important and the styles of these bags are so useful. They have made great gifts too.

Anonymous,  March 6, 2009 at 3:40 PM

Great bags! I like the recycling too. Thanks for the contest.
