GOT2BE Review & Giveaway!!

Yes, Yes... I used to have a "career"....

Before I was a waitress and a bartender and a mommy... I was a hairdresser. I loved doing hair, I really enjoyed it, but then the business slowed, baby was on the way and my availability changed. I still hold my license, and I do hair for family and friends, but I'm no longer working in a salon.

I try to stick with products I know and trust, but I really try to see all the products that are out there. There's so much to choose from and there's the good stuff and then there's the not-so-good stuff... I recently found something that I can put into the "good stuff" category.

Got2Be has come out with their new Smooth Operator smoothing lustre lotion and its FAB! I've got damaged hair, it does what it wants sometimes and it frizzes... I hate it!! I tried out the smoothing lustre lotion and it was wonderful. With an awesome scent, adorable bottle and a great price around $5.99 for the 6.8oz bottle, you really can't beat it.

You never want to use anything to make your hair look greasy or weighed down, and the Got2Be smoothing lustre lotion definitely doesn't. Its lightweight but does the job that you definitely need it to do!!

Here's a helpful hint from my big bag of hairdressing tips... (if you read the comments here, you'd already know that I've said this) if you use a heat source on your hair, you really need to be protecting it. Meaning if you're a heavy blowdryer, curling iron-er or most especially a flat iron user, you need to be using something on your hair BEFORE you do those things or else you'll be burning your hair a little every time you use it. After a while its going to end up pretty dry and damaged. Using a product beforehand helps protect your hair, if anything does get "burned off" its going to be the product and not your hair shaft... Got2Be lustre lotion is a great product to use prior to styling!!

Want to win a 3oz bottle of the Got2Be smooth operator smoothing lustre lotion? Leave a comment with your biggest hair issue!!

my biggest hair problem is frizzy curls...I'd love an easy way to have big beautiful curls without having to use rollers and take hours out of my day...but there is not..so I usually have the tight curls God blessed/punished me with!

=)

My hair is insanely frizzy and also really tangled. It's below my butt and it's really hard to control it.

This sounds great. would love to try it and have my daughter try it too for her hair.

My biggest hair issue is that it used to be extremely thick and now it's been drastically thinning in the last two years. Very devastating and I can't get to the bottom of it!

My hair has no body what so ever. It is straight as can be. No matter what I do it always looks sort of flat.

u might think i m nuts but i am trying to be less chemical and more natural. about 2 1/2 months ago I threw out all the commercial products and started using just baking soda and vinegar on my hair. it was great up until now. I am visiting my daughter and she has hard water (might be the reason) my hair feels heavy and greasy and not clean. baking soda and vinegar were working for me up until now. 3/4ths of my hair was color treated/highlighted and dried out/damaged/ new growth has 10% gray (yikes!) I use a blow dryer and flat iron about every other day. not sure what to do. back to shampoos? or what? I'm trying to wait 'till i get home (softened well water) to see if that will rinse it clean but might have to do something in the meantime to survive. any suggestions?

MY biggest hair issue is the 'dullies' - lack of gloss and shine. Especially after a long, brutal winter :(

My biggest problem is with keeping my curls frizz-free and under control! They're wild and have a mind of their own, that's for sure. This system seems like it's the perfect way to finally get the perfect curls I've wanted.

My biggest hair issue is that, as the mom of a teenager, it is usually standing up on end like I'm being electrocuted. I have a blonde, no curly 'fro. Anything to tame my hair and make me look like I'm not in perpetual shock (I am!) but rather in control, would be great.

Unknown April 21, 2009 at 9:31 PM

My biggest hair issue right now is frizziness. It's been raining on and off for days and my hair is taking a beating.

My other issue is the color. For years I've colored my own hair. Two weeks ago I decided to splurge and get it done in a salon. BIG mistake! She did it much darker than I normally do and I think it looks horrible. Who goes darker in the summer?? Besides that, I don't even know if I can get it back to my normal color. Is it possible to go lighter after dark.
