Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

I'm a cereal eater. I eat it constantly... I eat it for breakfast, I eat it for lunch... I occasionally eat it for dinner and since I'm such a big nighttime eater, you might even catch me eating it in the middle of the night.

I'm always on the lookout for great new cereals, and I'm not big on the sugary junk. I'm so happy to have been able to try out the new Honey Kix! Especially since regular Kix is one of the staples in my kitchen cabinet. The whole family loves it.

Kid tested, mother approved Kix has been around for a long time, I can remember eating it for years and years. My daughter eats Kix and when I showed her a new kind, she was really excited to try it, so Saturday morning we sat down and had our new cereal together. Boug was loving it!! I was loving it!! And Lil' Buddy just sat and stared... all jealous like...

Ever eat something delicious and begin denying that it could be good for you? Honey Kix was one of those for me... and with 16 grams of whole grain, a good source of fiber and no artificial sweeteners or preservatives, it is good for you!!

Want to try the new Honey Kix?? I have 3 Honey Kix Sweet and Simple prize packs to giveaway!! The Sweet and Simple prize pack includes a coupon for a box of Honey Kix, an adorable honey jar, cereal bowls, a take-n-go cereal container and a cereal storage container!
Just leave a comment here letting me know what you do to start your morning off right!

first I wake up and try to be positive, and eating something small and getting a dose of caffeine in the form of diet coke is essential. I ahve found I am friendlier and get more done if I eat a breakfast- this sounds great.

A cup of coffee and a few chapters of my library book while the kids run around and build up an appetite for breakfast. Then I jump up and start my day, but I need to get "centered" with my "me" time first.

I have to go out with the dog so he can do his business! Then I have coffee and computer time, before I have breakfast. --which is usually cereal or a donut.

I like to start my mornings off with taking the puppy outside. Usually he has a lot of energy so that allows both of us to get some fresh air and a little bit of exercise.

I get my day off right by taking a hot shower. Then by making a bowl of oatmeal with cinnamin & raisins. Then I'm set to go. My grandaughters would love this, they don't really care for oatmeal.

I wake up a good hour and half before anyone else in the house. This allows me to get a jump on everything, and we have a rather smooth start to the day every day because I'm organized. The kids clothes have always been laid out the night before after baths, and papers are signed, homework is done, etc. before tv time at night. My morning is really pretty peaceful in the first hour and a half, between having tea, checking my computer emails, and getting ready for the day.

Diane March 1, 2009 at 3:50 PM

take and go container would be great for my two boys they don't eat breakfast right away. Their day starts at 6am out the door at 630am to go to work with me. Most days they get up at 620am with only 10 minutes to get dressed they don't have time for a good breakfast this would be a great prize for them.

paula h March 1, 2009 at 5:22 PM

I either eat a bowl of cereal (Honey Combs, Alpha-bits or Frosted Mini Wheats) or a bowl of oatmeal. I usually have a cup of coffee with it.

Sarah Z March 1, 2009 at 6:12 PM

During the week... yogurt and mixed berries!

I am not a coffee person but rather a tea person. So I get the kettle on while hubby and I make either a bowl of cereal or waffles(if it is the weekend). I have to grab a glass of juice of some sort if I do not have any fruit to put with the cereal. In the tea hubby and I usually add just a bit of honey to add a little sweetness and then hubby is out the door before 7:30 am.

Valeen March 2, 2009 at 7:09 PM

I start my day off right by giving my kids and my hubby a big hug! It puts a smile on all of our faces!
