Are you wise?

Get wise to Planet Wise wetbags!! I'm sure that you have a need for a wetbag somewhere in your life and maybe you don't have one, maybe you do... maybe you reuse plastic grocery bags (YUCK) and maybe you just use a tote that leaks or something. Why bother with using something that leaks or something that isn't good for the environment?

Planet Wise wetbags are an environmentally responsible, socially concious, family owned company. Is too important to reduce our environmental impact and Planet Wise is doing just that. All products are throughly researched, pvc and lead free. And much to everyone's surprise, a lot of zippers are painted with paint that contains lead!!

Planet Wise has the greatest patterns for their bags and I especially love the taxi and the river rock. They come in 3 convenient sizes, small, medium and large. Depending on your needs you can get the size that best suits you. Since I'm not a cloth diapering mama, and the small says 1-2 cloth diapers, I like to use mine for the babys bottles when we're out and about. Somehow I always happen to grab the leaky ones and I hate that I never realize until its way too late! But the big one- Its HUGE!! It holds about 17 cloth diapers!!

Need to find yourself a Planet Wise bag? Check out the retailers list at the website!! They have won the iParenting media award, is Jet With Kids.com approved and really are amazing quality. And the best part for me, the absolute most convenient part.... MACHINE WASHABLE AND DRYABLE!! The options are endless... swimsuits, diapers (child and adult), shoes, potty training accidents, sweaty gym clothes and anything else you could think of!!

Made in the U.S.A. by a family owned, environmentally and socially concious company... what else can you ask for??

Want a Planet Wise bag of your own?? I have one to giveaway!! Its the greatest aqua swirl print!! Just leave me a comment here telling me how you reduce, reuse or recycle!! There are NO extra entries on this one, you can comment as many times as you like as long you dont post your same comment twice. Tell me all different ways that you are environmentally concious!

This giveaway will be open until Tuesday, March 3rd at noon eastern. Winner will be drawn with random.org and emailed. Winner will have 5 days to reply to the winning email or else a new winner will be drawn.

Thank you so much Planet Wise!

We buy products with less packaging and/or recyclable packaging to reduce the amount of garbage we produce and we recycle some items like bottle caps and plastic bags into arts and crafts projects.

Good Morning! If I am at the grocery store and only have one or two items, I make sure not to use a plastic bag. I am seriously not organized enough to tote reusable bags in and out (getting three children in and out is hard enough) so this is how I try to do a little part.
Have a great Monday and thanks for the giveaway!

I bought several reusable grocery bags to take to the store with me-no more plastic bags!

I recycle for my inlaws who would otherwise throw everything out. They don't have recycling pickup at their complex. It drives me crazy. Thanks for a great contest!

Sue D February 17, 2009 at 7:29 AM

I re-purpose empty glass jars to hold food. For example I use applesauce jars to hold my home dried apple slices. I put leftovers in jars--especially good for sauces and soups. Also good to hold dried beans and rice.

Mir March 2, 2009 at 10:14 AM

We recycle - not offered where we live so we take paper/cardboard/packaging to a collection point. Fortunately it is right next door to where my husband works so no fuel spent on driving around.

Mir March 2, 2009 at 10:17 AM

We use store totes for groceries. The plastic bags we do end up are used as garbage bags so we never buy any actual garbage bags. Our carbage can is tiny so the plastic grocery bags are a good fit.

rubynreba March 2, 2009 at 11:45 AM

We recyle cans, newspapers and plastic

We are members of a group called Freecycle where members post things they no longer need or ask for things they need - everything is free. Nobody is charged for anything.
