Valuable information available through NMEDA

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Sometimes its hard to believe that my own grandparents, or even my parents, might be needing a wheelchair one day simply due to older age. Its even harder to believe, that God forbid, an accident may happen and someone that I care for may need one, even at a younger age. The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association, or NMEDA, is a wealth of resource if you're ever in a position to help someone gain their independence back, and gain their mobility back at the same time. NMEDA is a non-profit organization, that doesn't sell anything, yet educates consumers and promotes safe driving and driving equipment for disabled people. You can easily search their site for qualified dealers near you, or learn more about their Quality Assurance Program.

NMEDA's Quality Assurance Program is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. Its a wonderful thing, to have a great resource like that behind you while doing research and making purchases that can change a life and restore some independence for someone you love. Its good to know that their outlook is that if you want to consistently keep your customers satisfied, you must have a systematic and documented approach to quality. Its a shame more companies and more programs don't use an outlook like that.

I'm happy to know in the back of my mind that if I need to turn to NMEDA, I can, and I know where to go thanks to them. There's a mobility assistance vehicle dealer less than 20 miles away from me, and I was able to get that info quickly and easily from the NMEDA site. Do you have one to turn to near you? Search by your zip code to find out!
