Salute Our Troops with Dollar General!

Personally, one of the groups of people that I give thanks for quite often is our veterans and our active duty military. What they do for our country and what they sacrifice is beyond anything that I can easily put into words. Of course their families also, because they give so much up as well, so that their loved ones can protect our country, and essentially, us.

This Friday, Veterans Day, active duty, veterans as well as their families can receive a 10% discount while shopping in-store, without any sort of a coupon needed. Online there is also a code that is for all shoppers to save 10% as well, just enter VETERANSDAY when you check out!  

Dollar General also makes it easy to show your support in another couple of ways. You can record and upload a brief message to their Facebook  page for everyone to see! Another option that they offer in store is $20 or $30 care packages. Its nice for the service men and women to get packages with stuff that they need an use, and sometimes its hard to even know what that is as a civilian. These care packages include things like toothbrushes, nuts, eye drops, candy and other items that they'll definitely appreciate.
