Holiday Wish List includes Villeroy & Boch!

Entertaining for the holidays is always a daunting task. Sometimes it never seems to be enough serving platters or stemware or what have you, and my mom is constantly calling about two minutes before I leave the house to tell me to bring something else over. This year, I was so very excited to bring over for Thanksgiving, a most beautiful serving set from Villeroy & Boch. Now don't get me wrong, I'm festive and all, but I love those staple pieces that you can use year round and the Urban Nature Serving set is one of those pieces that we're going to just love showing off.

Villeroy & Boch is a stunning, well known and established brand of china that has been used by the Pope, royalty, and so many more. They have an outlook that fine china should be used everyday, and I can say simply by using the Urban Nature serving set, having it out on the counter holding fruit, I feel good seeing it there. It adds some class to my kitchen and my shabby little apartment.

The company offers much more than just serving dishes, you can shop for tableware, glassware, cutlery, gourmet whiskey and much more. I've fallen in love with Villeroy & Boch and their large array of choices. I love that some products are more classic and some are more modern, they don't just stick with one little style to offer. I see these pieces being a perfect gift this holiday season for those couples who are first starting out and are ready to expand their china collection!!

Holiday Wish List includes Pogoplug!

Year round, I always try to keep in touch with friends and family. I try to send them pictures and files and whatnot over the web because its one of the easiest ways to keep in touch. Thankfully, I just found a way to make it even easier! I loathe when I'm at someones house and say "Oh! I should have sent you that email! I should have emailed you those pictures, but they're on my computer!!" With Pogoplug, you can access your files remotely, so you can access your content from any web browser, computer or mobile device. Pogoplug connects your internal hard drive to the internet so that you can completely see your home content from anywhere!

Holiday Wish List includes Cahootie!!

I'm always looking for something different to pick up for my daughter and my nieces for the holidays and I'm happy to have come across Cahootie! They take me back personally to when I was a kid and would make those folded paper fortune things. Essentially that's what Cahootie is, but much, much better! They're such better quality then when you did it yourself, and the themes that Cahootie has to offer are great!

Though most of the Cahootie's are "girl-themed" there are a few that are specially licensed through Animal Planet which are great for both boys and girls. Holiday Wish List includes Foxy Blunt!

Shopping for Christmas cards is never an easy task. I usually just go with the standard photo ones for family and friends, that of course include the picture of the kiddos. There are times that I want to send a card to a gal pal that's from just me. Where I can be my sarcastic, snarky self, and the chicks that know me and receive the card will know exactly where I'm coming from. I'm stoked to have found Foxy Blunt and their gorgeous cards. Holiday Wish List includes Yoplait!!

With the colder weather here, the holidays impending and everyone being so busy, sometimes its hard to incorporate fruits and veggies into your diet as much as over the warmer months. I know I cringe at the grocery store when I look at the prices of fruit and the availability over the winter. I still want to get the good stuff into me, but I look for other options when this time of year rolls around.

Yoplait Frozen Smoothies are a Godsend!! Each package contains a full serving of fruit and for those of us watching our weight, only 110 to 120 calories per serving! I love being able to turn to something so easy to get my fruit servings in! KT Tunstall at Terminal 5, NYC!!

I am SUPER EXCITED!! Tomorrow night I'll be grabbing one of my gal pals and hopping the train down to the city for a girls night, but of course with big thanks to One2One Network! We'll be heading off to see KT Tunstall at Terminal 5 and for you locals, there are tickets still available!!



KT Tunstall's new album, "Tiger Suit" was released back on October 5th, and the songs on it are superb! I absolutely love her pop, folk type of sound and I can't wait to see her live! I'll be sharing more about this concert with you in the next couple days!!

Thinking about what will happen in 28 days...

This year, will be my very first Christmas morning in an empty house, ever. Waking up alone. Just me and the cat.

Although I know its 28 days away, and I shouldn't be stressing myself out over it quite yet, its on my mind. I can't help but think about how my kids won't be waking up here on Christmas morning. I know they'll be here about mid-morning, but its totally different from them actually waking up here. What an odd feeling. I know I could have them here if I wanted to, since the restaurant is only open til 8:00 on Christmas eve and I could be home at a decent hour with them, but I don't want to take away from their father and whatever plans he may have for Christmas eve night or for Christmas morning for that matter.

I know the kids will be fine, and won't stress out over not waking up here on Christmas morning, so why am I stressing out over it? I could be optimistic and think of it how I wouldn't have to wait til the late night to set up the presents under the tree. I could get a good nights sleep for once. But those things don't seem to matter to me the way having the kids wake up here matters to me.
