momAgenda ROCKS!!

This year will be a big one for me. We'll be moving, Lil' Buddy will be 1, Boug will be 5 and the biggest event of all for 2009 will be Miss Boug heading off to Kindergarten. In a way I'm so excited, both for her and myself... I mean its good, she'll get to be with other kids, she'll be learning and she needs to get away from her baby brother. But on the flip side, we aren't going to be together 24/7 anymore!! I'll be happy to get a bit of a break from both kids at once, but I'll be missing her from 9:15 am til 3:30 pm Monday through Friday come September.

I'm so excited that I was able to get my hands on momAgenda's School Years book. We got the rose one, of course perfect for Boug, and when I opened it I was just in awe. I got a little teary at the reminder of her going to school, but I'm excited at the same time for a beautiful, well organized way to chronicle the next 13 or so years.

momAgenda has it also available in sage and aqua, with its pocket pages, its perfect for holding the writing samples, report cards and other school memorabilia that you dont want to just stash in a shoebox under the bed. (Trust me, my mom just gave me all my school papers, 2 big, beat up, cardboard boxes, practically busting out the seams!)

I know that by the time we get to the 12th grade page, I'm going to be looking back at the Kindergarten page wondering where the years have gone.... I don't think I want her to ever grow up!! But with momAgenda's School Years book, at least I'll be able to look back through the years and reflect!

The school years book isn't the only thing that momAgenda offers! They carry an awesome line of planners, home organizers, portfolios, chore pads, tote bags, gift sets and so much more!! Be sure to stop by momAgenda and check out the fabulous items that they have available... and yes... I'll be getting another School Years book in a few years when its time to ship Lil' Buddy off to Kindy. I'll be crying the whole time...

Check out momAgenda's facebook page and dont forget to register to win a $100 gift card!! Hit up their Spring Sale too!!

Mabel's Labels Review & Giveaway!!

***Giveaway closed and a winner will be picked shortly!!***

I don't ask for a lot for you to be entered into any of my giveaways, and I'd really appreciate people following the rules of any/all of them. This one says to please go visit Mabel's Labels and tell me any other item that you like BESIDES the Camp/School pack. I'm going to go through comments here momentarily and get rid of the ones that don't follow the rule. Its unfair to those who actually did follow the rules of the giveaway. I don't want to DQ anyone, and I don't want to start moderating comments. Please just follow the rules for me m'kay?

Now on with the original review.....

Boug is going to be 5 this summer, and its closing in on us fast. We always wanted to get her into pre-school before Kindergarten, but it just was not financially possible. But now with Kindergarten right around the corner, I keep thinking of little things like lunchboxes, cupcake days, nap times and all the things that I remember from when I was in Kindergarten a million years ago.

I remember naptime when I had to bring in my own blanket and attempt to lay still and take a nap. I hated naptime. I never slept. I got bored. I got fidgety and I never got the little surprises that the teacher aides would give all the napping kids. She'd put stickers on our cots for later or a pencil eraser or something else thats fun for kids.

I brought in my blue and pink plaid blanket and of course, my name HAD TO be on it. I wouldn't want some other kid using or stealing MY blanket. My mom sewed a small piece of cloth to the corner of the blanket and wrote my name on it with sharpie marker.

Thank goodness I wont have to attempt to sew. Mabel's Labels is a great company started up by moms who were frustrated with just how much stuff got taken out of the house and never came back!

The sticky labels and clothing labels are totally customizable and are microwavable, dishwasher and laundry safe.

Some of my favorite things are the kids safety products. My 411 wristbands and Allergy Alerts are genius! I remember as a kid walking around with a big paper tag tied to my backpack or my belt loop. These are so so so much more convenient!

And the best thing that they could have done for someone like me... The Camp/School Pack. It has more than enough labels than you'll need for summer camp or school. It comes with 15 sticky labels, 40 iron-ons or 50 tag mates, 8 shoe labels and 2 bag tags, for only $34.00!

And wonderful for me, the organized challenged, they also have household labels like the cord control, curbsides, the neat freak combo and more!
