I keep noticing how quickly its getting cold around here and I know what that means, colds and flu will be setting in on us before we know it. Especially with all the germs that float around the schools, I know Boug will be bringing some home, without a doubt. Stuck on You has a great Flu Fighter pack of labels to help you keep the germs from coming and invading your home and family.

The Flu Fighter pack includes small, large and rectangle labels so that you can make sure that your belongings are labeled and aren't being shared. Pink Together (giveaway)

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I wanted to put this post up towards the end of the month, in the hopes that it would keep people thinking about breast cancer awareness into the next month. Its something that should remain on our minds, and something that we should be taking steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones from. Doing self checks, mammograms and keeping it in the forefront is important.

The Pink Together site is a huge, and growing, community of breast cancer survivors and supporters, where people can compare stories, inspire each other, and spread encouragement in a tough time. You can head over and leave your own encouraging comment or inspiring story at Pink Together. Also, you can purchase breast cancer awareness products at the Shop Komen site as well, where 25% of the merchandise purchase price benefits Komen. General Mills is working closely with Pink Together and is donating money, up to $25,000, in addition to the $2 million they have already committed to Komen, when you share on the Pink Together website, or on the Pink Together facebook page.

Want to win a Pink Together prize pack? Visit the Pink Together site, leave a comment with something from the site that you liked or inspired you. Prize pack includes a pink ribbon car magnet, a pink ribbon key chain, a travel mug, a drawstring bag and coupons for free General Mills products.

I'm all for making my life easier, so when I cook, I look for ways to cut time out. I love to add easy and good side dishes to my meals and Betty Crocker's Potato Buds are one of those. I've turned to Betty Crocker for so many things, and Potato Buds have been one of those things for many years. Potato Buds have been a consistent standby in my pantry for a long time now, so I'm happy to bring you a giveaway that includes Potato Buds and more!

Also, you can hit up the Betty Crocker site for recipes and meal ideas that use Potato Buds. I love that they also have another site, Live Gluten Freely, that helps with recipes for those who need to have a gluten free lifestyle. Even alone, Potato Buds are gluten free, so even as a side dish there's no need to worry! I tried out the Beef Pot Pie with Potato Biscuit Crust recipe, and I was so happy with how easy it was. Holiday Cards from Shutterfly

I'm finding it so hard to believe that we're already at the end of October. I've slacked on so much over the past couple months, but with the holiday season fast approaching, I just can't slack anymore! One thing that I vow not to wait til the last minute on is getting my holiday cards. I don't want to be stuck picking up those cookie cutter cards in a box, so impersonal, from the drug store in town, because I waited too long to order beautiful cards with cute pictures of the kiddies.

There are countless places to order your Christmas cards from, but the ones that Shutterfly has to offer are some of my favorite. I adore how many choices there are, and how you can let your family's personality shine through in the cards that you choose. The Fa LaLa card is high on my list of choices, with its fun theme. Also on my list are the Bright Colored Lights card, which is sooo festive, and the For Goodness Sake card, which fits my kids personalities most perfectly!!

Shutterfly has so much to offer, including Christmas invitations for all the parties you'll be throwing this holiday season. I've ordered many items from Shutterfly in the past and I've never been disappointed! I'm looking forward to ordering from them again soon!

Do you want 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly? Click here to go to Shutterfly for information on how you can get 50 free cards this holiday season, and make sure to select Clever 1000 as the referral source.

This post is part of a series sponsored by Shutterfly. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses http://blogwithintegrity.com">Blog With Integrity, as I do.

Halloween Cocktails from Alize

Each year there are countless Halloween parties for the kiddies, but planning something fun for the grown ups is much needed as well! We need a break to goof off, let loose, have conversations that revolve around something other than Dora or Sesame Street. This year, a great addition to the grown up Halloween parties is Alize Liqueur, and the super, new, delicious cocktails that they've come out with for this spooky season!
A couple friends and I tried out the Alize Red Passion, a blend of passion fruit and cranberries, and the Alize Gold Passion, a passion fruit flavor, and mixed up a few cocktails to decide which ones we liked best. Funny that each of us had a different favorite, but we all agreed that all of the recipes absolutely ROCK!

My favorite was the Mad Scientist Sangria, which is one ounce Alize Red Passion, one ounce red wine, and one ounce ginger ale. An orange squeezed in was the perfect garnish! One of my BFF's decided that her favorite was the Vampire Kiss Martini, and easy to make with one and a half ounce Alize Red Passion, one ounce Alize Gold Passion, one ounce vodka and a splash of lemonade.

There are even more great recipes available on the Alize website, where you can find a bunch of other great recipes using the other varieties of Alize as well!

Beauty & The Beast Diamond Edition Available!

I find it so very hard to believe that Beauty and the Beast came out in 1991, and here we are now in 2010. Its shocking how quickly that the years have passed and how much this Disney movie has remained a classic!

The Beauty and the Beast 3 disc Diamond Edition has come out and it includes the Blu-Ray and DVD, with so many extra bonus features. There are never before seen deleted scenes, a never before seen alternate opening, the untold stories of making the film, a Beauty and the Beast music video by Jordin Sparks, and there's even a sing along mode, which is Boug's favorite feature! Beauty and the Beast was the first animated film to ever be nominated for the Academy Awards best picture, its easy to see why, because its one of Disneys finest classics!

Its hard not to love Beauty and the Beast, with the voices of Jerry Orbach, Angela Lansbury, Paige O'Hara, and Robby Benson lent to the movie. Its a classic tale of love, and teaching someone to love. Beauty and the Beast proves that love knows no boundries!!

You can pick up a copy of Beauty and the Beast Three-Disc Diamond Edition at amazon.com.

30 Days of Truth. Day 20.

To go along with all this self-support, I've found a few friends participating in the 30 Days of Truth and I think it could be quite beneficial to me to participate as well. I think it'll let me in on who I am, and it'll be a bit of self discovery. You can find the daily questions over at Angel Believes.

Day 20:
Your Views On Drugs & Alcohol

My views on alcohol may be different from most peoples views, after living with a recovering alcoholic for almost 8 years. Responsibility is key. If you like to indulge in a glass or two of wine, have a beer at a bbq or whatever, who am I to tell you that you can't? But if you know, or have been told that you have a problem, I believe that you need to do whatever is in your power to help yourself through that. As for drugs, silly ones like marijuana don't bother me, because honestly, the pot smokers that I know literally sit in their house, baked out of their mind, and bother absolutely no one. They don't drive or get into confrontations, they sit around and watch stupid movies and eat snacks. Harder drugs though, I feel like you always have to know who you're affecting with your addictions, even with alcohol as well.

Day 19:
What Do You Think Of Religion? Or What Do You Think Of Politics?

Politics and religion are tricky subjects that in beauty school I was taught to never talk about with clientele. My views on religion are simple, believe in what makes you feel good. My views on politics are askew, I can't relate with any one party, because there are always views from every side that I agree and disagree with.

Day 18:
Your Views On Gay Marriage

I believe everyone deserves to be happy and gay marriage falls under happiness. Who am I to judge if you want to spend the rest of your life with someone of the same sex? As long as you're happy, I think that's all that matters.

Day 17:
A Book You've Read That Has Changed Your Views On Something

I didn't read for many many years, how horrible that sounds. But here's the weird part of this answer, reading the Twilight books changed my views on actually reading!! Ever since I found books that I could become immersed into, I've wanted to read more!! Many thanks to recommendations on books from friends as well, I'm loving the time that I take for myself simply by sitting with a book!

Protect your baby with cord blood banking

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of CryoCell International. All opinions are 100% mine.

There's so much to think about when you're pregnant, breast or bottle, co-sleep or crib, huggies or pampers, binky or no? And of course, some of that is the least of your worries! Some of the stuff that runs through a parents head while expecting is absolutely overwhelming!! Something that a parent can do for their child is to protect their future in any way that they can, aside from college accounts or saving money, a perfect way to protect your sweetheart is to bank cord blood at birth.

Its kind of depressing to think of how children can get sick, with some horrible diseases and conditions, and I'd love to wave my magic wand and make them all disappear, but having cord blood in your arsenal is a great start. U-Cord blood cells are known to treat over 75 diseases and have been used in over 12,000 transplants worldwide!

Resources like cord blood banking can tend to be expensive, but there are ways that you can make it more affordable on yourself. Cryo-Cell has been chosen by over 215,000 families worldwide and they carry other benefits than cord blood banking. With their services, 2% of your service and annual storage fees gets deposited into your established Upromise college savings account!

Day 16:
Someone or Something You Definitely Couldn't Live Without

Now if I had to answer this one more than 7 years ago, I have no idea how I would answer it, but now the answers come so easily. I know I couldn't live without my children, as much as they drive me insane, and I know I couldn't live without my parents, because they have supported me so much over the years.

Get moving with the PlayStation Move!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love gizmos and gadgets, I love all sorts of new electronics. I blame it on my ex, since he loves all that stuff too. Not long after we got together, we both realized how much we loved video games and it wound up being a competitive free for all between the two of us! How video gaming systems have evolved over the years simply astounds me! I can still remember my first system, and looking back, it was so high tech, but now it seems so simple!

PlayStation has come out with their new Move that allows you to actually MOVE along with your PlayStation 3! Its as easy as their ergonomically designed controller, that is easy to use, to give you full motion and ultimate control over how you play your games! The PlayStation Move is something that I know Boug would absolutely love too, especially since they have all sorts of games available, like action, sports, shooter, family and her favorite, the party style games!

Nice thing about the PlayStation Move, is that you don't need to buy a whole new system to have it! You can upgrade your current PS3 to the Move system for only $99! With the holidays coming up before we know it, I'm sure that the PSMove is going to be on a whole lot of wish lists this year! I'll definitely be one of those gifts that the entire family can enjoy!
