Get your game on with Out Of The Box Games!!

Photobucket
Every year, every holiday the fam sits down after dinner and dessert and plays games. We've probably played every game known and we've been stuck in a rut the past few years. Browsing Out Of The Box Games and picking up something new has helped to get us unstuck!
Photobucket
This year, the kiddos will be playing Backseat Drawing Junior while the adults play our tried and true Apples to Apples. Playing Backseat Drawing Junior isn't just a fun game, its been helping our Miss Boug learn her spelling words at the same time, which I love. And shhh... she hasn't even realized its like homework, so there's no way I'm telling her!!

With Backseat Drawing Junior, the director picks a card and directs the artist to draw the item on the card, all without giving away what is written on the card!! All while the other players are trying to guess what the artist is drawing! Its definitely been one of those silly-fun games around here!

There's even a regular Backseat Drawing version of this game for the grown ups to have their own Backseat Drawing fun!

Make sure you visit Melissa's OTB-Games giveaway for a chance to win the Ninja VS Ninja game!

Want to win a Backseat Drawing Junior game?? Visit OTB-Games and look around, is there another game that catches your eye? Who would you challenge??

Rummino FRN Review!

Keeping things lively and fun around the house during downtime is important. Sometimes we forget to take time for each other and get stuck in a rut. A great way to have a fun home night is with a great game.

We were recently sent, for review through FRN, Rummino which is a mix of dominos and rummy. And if you watched or participated in Monday Mingle, you'd see me talk about how the hub and I always used to play rummy. Rummino has been an awesome addition to our game collection and a must needed, well deserved break from the crazyness of everyday. Though it took us a minute to get used to the new rules and regulations of Rummino, we quickly caught on and before we knew it, we had played 3 rounds of it!!

Although I know Rummino is a little advanced for Boug, she's only 5 and the recommended ages are 8+, I know I'll be bringing Rumminio to the family gatherings this holiday season especially. We've been in a game rut for the holidays for the past few years and I'm sure Rummino is going to be a big hit!

You can pick up Rummino through the Marina Games website or at Amazon.com.

Opinions are my own, I was provided items free of charge to review, which in no way changed the way I feel about the product!
