Trust & Convenience with American Express Prepaid!!

My daughter started second grade today. I look at the other "kids" in my life, and realize my daughter will soon be like them... headed off to college. I had three family friends head off to their freshman year of college last month, and two more started their senior year of high school. It was a summer full of graduation parties and gift giving, but when it comes down to it, you've got to be practical. Gift cards are one of the most practical gifts to give, but take it one step further, with a bit more thought and responsibility and you find the new American Express Prepaid Card.

The prepaid card that American Express offers has its perks, and can be used for so many different reasons. Whether you need to become a better budgeter, need to make sure that the babysitter has money available for the ice cream shop, want to give your teenager a little more freedom with back to school shopping and so much more. The card doesn't have any activation fees like the $4.95 and up that I've seen on some other major credit card branded gift cards. I just can't understand paying money to spend money?? The funds that are added onto the American Express prepaid card won't expire and just in case it gets lost or stolen, its easily replaced (thankfully!!).

American Express is one of the major cards that people have grown to expect such great things from, and their prepaid card isn't any different. The same great roadside assistance, purchase protection and 24/7 customer service is available with the prepaid option!

I love the idea of this card! I love that it can be held onto, and I can just add money to it for whatever reason, instead of throwing away all sorts of gift cards once their balance has been depleted!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of American Express and received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
